Music. What are you listening to right now?

Beatles "Love" is a great album with killer sonics, cannot get any better. Everyone should own it.

Matt Cardle !!

found him on his merit that I like his voice & songs. :p

Some folk I know just put this up on Facebook - I know all these peeps, woohoo :D

One of our local bands - The Adidas Kebabs:

This is my wife`s nephew ..guitarist to the left of the singer..nowhere near my cup of tea..but he plays a musical instrument and that for me earns respect..
Tuusk

Rush, my kind of music :wall: (closest thing to head banging). I remember my stage days. Actually, here they are... I'm the bassist all the way to the right. Didn't realize it's been over 2 years until I looked that video up again, lol.

Always fancied Sandie Shaw, hot totty from Dagenham, though my peers never could understand my POV. She was a better singer than often perceived, having to live down 'Puppet On A String', she made some good recordings, including a cover of Led Zep's 'Your Time Is Gonna Come'.

Ah, Iron Maiden, a staple at most of the clubs and pubs where I played records. The early band with Paul Dianno on vocals played one of our local pubs, The Saxon (now a Lidls) a few times, I remember them being full of energy.

Bassist Steve Harris used to regularly attend a pub named The Green Gate at Gants Hill I played at and we'd talk about music. Very down to earth nice geezer.

From that association I found myself booked to play the sounds at the end of one of Iron Maiden's tours. They played Hammersmith Odeon then from midnight to 4am I played music for them at a pub in Hammersmith's King Street (which at the time, trivia fans, was a Gay pub and is now a lap dancing club) and there were many people from the band member's families there, an interesting occasion for which they paid well.

I like Iron Maiden, especially the first three albums.

Last album I played, last night, was the Golden Hour Of The Kinks. They were (are?) a good band :)

wow TC, didn't know you liked real music. :)

I am a woman of hidden depths!!

Did anyone catch the documentary about Iron Maiden on Beeb4 last night? "Iron Maiden: Behind the Beast" It was rather good - particularly to see some of the behind-the-scenes preparation. Fascinating stuff.

...It was followed by their "En Vivo" concert. Full of energy, the Chilean audience were enjoying a great time, the stadium was packed and jumping. It anyone is interested, the full concert is available on YouTube (as are others, of course.) Here:
(Almost 2 hrs worth, so enjoy.) :D

Ah, The Kinks. :)

Wonderful outfit from my youth.

And, they managed to get a lot of humour into their songs. Loved the lyrics in Lola. :D
