MeshVictim never thought you would dare to write down the name of the legend that is Davey on this forum:p but your right he may be able to help?

Have mentioned it before, but would be good to see a "real" mesh staff member here if not just to work with us to help others out and apart from the like's of the codfather, we dont see them. Come on Mesh come and work with us to provide a better service for your customers:thumb:

Enjoy your holiday MeshVictim;)

Many thanks, emails sent to Trading Standards and said Davey.
Good luck & please keep us posted via this thread on how you get on:thumb:

Will do - dont hold your breath though! I was thinking I may get the local guy to fix this latest fault and then put both his bills together and try a small claims court on them. I know its pointless, but if it gets them tied up arguing the toss then at least they will have spent more money than a replacement pc on it.

Hi,

Felt I had to join forum and share my Mesh buying experience.

Pretty much the same as Shazbats experience really. To cut a long story short I ordered a PC which was due for delivery on 8th Sept. Mesh phoned to say theres been a delay with the order due to a lack of processors but was assured the PC would be delivered a week later on 15th Sept. Waited in all day on 15th Sept and it never arrived. Phoned Mesh and after being on hold for 45 minutes, only to be told its not going to be delivered and they are not sure when it is going to be delivered. Even though on the website the order status is dispatched. I didnt even recieve an apology of any kind. So I requested to cancel order and have a refund. To which I was advised it would take 5 working days. It is now 23rd Sept and still no refund.

After previously buying a Mesh 9 years ago, and back then was so impressed with the service etc, I'm so disappointed in how my custom was dealt with.

I bought a PC from PC World in the end and was very happy with both the product I bought and the service I received :)

I just hope I can get my money back now without much grief!

It seems to me, having bought a MESH nearly 6 years ago and had no problems whatsoever, hence buying this upgrade from them - that their service has seriously gone down hill in the interim.

I am still waiting to hear from them - promised reply 48 hours - nothing yet. Meanwhile I sit here with what sounds like a helicopter landing in my office. I cant believe it was tested at all before they returned it after 3 weeks - no one could have missed this fault.

I have just phoned Mesh to chase up about my refund, and it turns out that they havent even processed the refund yet. I've now got to speak to Admin on Monday to authorise the refund. Unbelievable. And again, not an apology in sight :(

Have spoken to trading standards and they've advised me to send a letter by recorded delivery stating that I want a refund within 7 days. I'll keep you guys updated.

Hopeless arent they. I would just add that I recommended Mesh to a lot of people, some of whom bought from them in the last couple of years. I cringe to think they may be having similar probs.

Also, my son who is whiter than white credit wise, home owner etc. ordered one last year, got a delivery date and everything and then when he rang to say it hadnt turned up they said Oh your credit application to us was turned down. No reason, cant tell you why. He was really p***** - cant understand it either - he is in a professional career, house owner, couldnt have had a better bet really and they embarrass him by doing that!

I should get on to them first thing, I dont like that word "authorise" there - I have been waiting 2 weeks for the manager to "authorise" a replacement - even the engineer and customer services person suggested it but then I got a phone call saying said manager would not "authorise".

I contacted Davey who chivvied up the "Customer Services Manager". I then received what seems like a template letter with bits of personal stuff inserted and the sender is not shown! They are saying that they cannot replace the unit as it may be just 5% of the unit is a problem. But Davey has pointed out 3 returns would equal the cost of a new unit, so why dont they just get it over with now!

Davey has also said that they can only repair faults that have been reported. BUT all these faults were reported and not diagnosed properly or not repaired properly. I told them my hard drive was clicking and cracking and blinking all the time, a service engineer came on site. I repeat this to him and he goes after 5 minutes of replacing one fan!

I reported "out of range" messages - they told me it was software. My local pc shop looked at it and said any technician worth his salt would associate that message with a faulty video card. Yep, the card was faulty.

Davy tells me they sell thousands of puters a week (erm, is that right??) and very few have any problems. But guys, I am not a techi, but more savvy than your average joe in the street - how many poor sods are sitting there not using their MESH computer because they think they are doing something wrong?

I feel like just dumping this and buying a cheapie from PC World, I really do. It has already cost me hundreds in lost work, time and paying for local techis to fix things and its only just over a year old. Ive now written to Davey saying that MESH can send me every component that may be causing the faults and I will get a local bloke to put them in. I will let you know what they say.

Mesh provide the same level of service to everyone, it's called CRAP!!

Dont trust Davey!
I have dealt with him and he talks a great story & it's all bull.
How can you trust a person who works for a company like mesh, you will get a refund but it will be as close to the 30 days limit as possible, mesh can then get more interest % from their bank by doing this.

I suggest you try www.companieshouse.gov.uk and for £3, download the mesh company info, in this you may find some interesting info on mesh directors, may be approaching them directly may help in your quest for a refund. Others have done it in the past and seems they dont like punters phoning their homes to complain, i wonder why!!

Dont forget to keep us posted on what happens next:thumb:

Feel sorry for some of these guys that are waiting for moneys.....Lessons to be learned here...

Oh yes....dont buy from mesh!
I find it so strange that some certain pc mags bend over backwards to say nice things about them. All to do with, as Feckit has said about not wanting to loose the mesh advertising!!!

Hi peeps,

Just to let you know I received my refund at last and just wanted to wish you all the best of luck and hope you all get your Mesh issues resolved. I certainly won't make the same mistake again!

It took 29 days from date of purchase or 14 days from the day I requested a refund. Lots of phone calls to customer service and one to trading standards resulted in a refund! Worst customer service I've ever received.

lol :D I can't believe how much they've changed in 9 years! And after all the grief I had, I never received one apology and not one reply to email or by post.

how ever you say it, mesh are crap at providing customer service

Well sadly it's not just the quality & reliability of their builds that has gone down the pan, they seem not to care about their customers too. They dont care about their customers, so why should we care about what we write about them.

My mesh pc is used to process work that i need to carry out, i ended up getting a friend to sort it out rather than have to RTB it so a mesh chimp could look at it:mad:

Oh Dear - Another Mesh Sucker

I have just been reading these forums with interest, I have a brand new mesh PC, with 2 x leadtek geforce 7800 GT cards which refuse to go into sli mode, ( sli black screen of death ) and the supplied SATA hard drive has obivous hard drive errors as you can hear the drive straining to read the disk.

Great build quality mesh !!

Guess I am in for a long haul in getting the pc in a usable state.

Mesh still offer one level of customer service, Crap

One word; Yes
You could write to Mesh or better still contact BBC Watchdog at http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/contact_computers.shtml
Sadly writing to mesh will do little, you could contact them on their mesh friendly forum, details on the mesh home page or a tame pc mag mesh friendly forum. But if you want action fast suggest Watchdog!
