Im having the same problem too. Did either of you get a response or fix?>

We often need the full error message, not just a summary of it, to offer
much
help.

This often means you have used an invalid server name. Ask your email
provider (who is probably also your internet provider) for their
instructions
for setting up to use their email servers, which should include the correct
server names. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet,
their instructions for Outlook Express should also work under Windows
Mail as long as they don't call for using the HTTP protocol. The
instructions should be available somewhere on their web site. Or, you
could tell us who your email provider is and see if anyone here already
knows where to find the instructions.

When I try to delete the 1st message in the OUTBOX that seems to be holding
up the sending of subsequent messages, I get a message "Unknown error has
occurred". Then another box drops down with the message "Deleting messages"
but none get deleted.

However, such error messages are often due to using POP3 as a server
name, which is invalid, instead of as a protocol. Ask your email provider
(who is probably also your internet provider) for their instructions on how
to set up to use their email servers, which should include the correct
server names. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet,

You may still have to move the oldest messages in your Outbox to the
Drafts folder or delete them to stop the error messages.

However, what you wrote looks like you used POP3 as a server name,
where it is invalid, instead of a protocol name, where it is valid. If so,
ask your email provider (who is probably also your internet provider)

For both of you, we often need the see the entire error message to offer
much
help. However, such a message often comes from using POP3 as a server
name, for which it is invalid, instead of as a protocol, for which it is
valid.
If you did this, ask your email provider (who is probably also your internet
provider) for their instructions on how to set up to use their email
servers,
which should include the correct server names. If they haven't written

We often need to see the entire error message, not just a summary of it,
to offer much help. Click on it and see if you can copy it.
