I highly recommend you do not try 'fixes' that were posted several
months ago. Had you bothered to read the newer posts, you would
have discovered that there is a newer, Microsoft-sanctioned fix that
does not have the potentially bad side effects of the older fix.

I had same problem and HP support walked me through the sulution.
go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090/en.us
Under ON THIS PAGE, SELECT: Windows Vita 32bit or 64bit verions(whatever
version you have)
SELECT: Windows Vista 32 or 64 bit versions
Download the 941090 Package Now
Next requires Validation: Select Continue (validation required)
Once vailidation is verified, follow on line instructions.
go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090/en.us

I tried the fix and still can't delete an email in my inbox...using
WinMail...maybe that is the problem why the fix didn't work?
Any other suggestions other than the messing around with the inbox that is
detailed?

If you don't know, it's probably 32 bit.
