Cant Delete inbox mail

NOTE: The title of the KB article says Outbox, however, the fix will also work
for messages stuck in other Windows Mail folders.

I think that most of the regular helpful posters in these groups are here
because they really do enjoy solving problems and sharing their knowledge and
experience. Also, the PC community has evolved out of a tradition of users
helping users.

And some, like myself, are retired and it sure beats shuffleboard and bridge.

Gary VanderMolen suggested the following in another posting. It worked for
me. Downloaded the fix, applied, rebooted and restarted mail. Was able to
delete the item in question.

Use this Microsoft fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

Although Outbox is the only folder mentioned, it will remove stuck
messages from all folders.

The trick is to mark the message read, then choose to "hide" the message. It
works.
