Unable to delete email

A laptop from the 1990's is not able to resist the onslaught of
modern-day viruses, malware and worms. The Internet is a much
different place today than it was in the 1990's.

Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

When you try to delete it an error message of:
An Unknown error has occurred.

Running Premier: 2GB MEM. 180GB HD.

I had the same problem but noticed that if you kept deleting the emails from
the deleted items box on the left direct it deletes one at a time and
eventually they all go. Even though it says there is a problem!

I just want to know how to delete out my delete box. Why is it giving me an
unknown error?

just encountered the exact same problem...things were working fine and then
the error message started popping up. my dell laptop is brand new running
vista premium and loads of memory/disk space.

Please don't just post a "me too" message.
It is preferable if you start your own thread, but at least describe your
issue in detail, and include a copy of your complete error message.
