wear on me as well. Having to download patches, fixes, new drivers. Old

Alternately, you may use the following REG file to set the default spell check language:
http://www.winhelponline.com/fixes/spellchk_settings.reg
Download the file to Desktop. Right-click on the file and choose Merge. Click "Yes" to confirm. Note that this REG file does not bring back the language options in the "Spelling" tab dropdown box, but sets English as the default language. Let's know how this goes.

I've clicked on spelling and I don't get a drop down menu. I have checked
everywhere and don't see the options. I tried your following suggestion and
here's what's posted:

I tried Ramesh's suggestion below to no avail. In fact, no language drop down
appeared. Suggestions?
:
Can you list the relevant bug ID for this problem? I'm assuming it exists (or
I'm going to go create one). I'd like to track it. It's a very annoying bug
for a clean installation of your newest OS. I wish I'd seen and reported it
during beta.
:
Start Windows Mail
Click the Tools menu and choose Options...
Click the Spelling tab
From the Language drop-down, select English (default choice)
Click OK

I
want to send and click Spelling, it works.

i have read some answer you guys have given i still don't know how to change
the optione with my spelling
MickY G said:I agree with everything you people are saying. Yes, it is not only the
Americans that use Vista but the whole world (for once something that is not
all American orientated)! So indeed, its about time that we got the use of
Vista for the whole world and not just the Americans but all this bickering
does not sort the problem out. Its not the fault of any particular country
(although we could possibly blame one particular country for everything bad
that happens on this planet) but it still does not address the problem at
hand! How the hell DO we get the spelling in Windows Mail, to understand the
real (British) English language? To understand it as was intended to be
spoken and read and not bastardised (with an 's' and not a 'z') by our
American 'friends'? That is the questin in point! How does it work?

I go to the MAIN Windows Mail page
Click the Tools menu and....
all I get is "Internet Options" not Options.
I looked under the internet options just to see, and could not find a
spelling thing anywhere. I did see a language area for web browsing, tried
removing and then adding back the english, and even just adding an additional
language... and nothing.
I also tried going to the Main Windows Mail page and hitting the options
button on the upper right hand side, and there is nothing there for spelling.
I have Windows Vista Business - does this make a difference?
Someone Please Help! Thanx!
