Music. What are you listening to right now?

I saw Nils Lofgren at Brighton around 1979, never did care for Gordon Lightfoot.....

Had not heard of Gordon Lightfoot before but enjoyed this song very calming and charming, thanks Urmas,

What was that? An outtake from the Godfather? Took me to a world I have yet to visit where travel brochures are blue and yellow and the cafes have blue and white chequered tableclothes.

Lots of good music "out there" for us to enjoy, non?

Bert Jansch (1943-2011)

(I do like the music of Pentangle.)

What was that? An outtake from the Godfather?
An italian hit from 1954 called Canzone da due soldi (Song of Two Pennies), lyrics by Pinchi (aka Giuseppe Perotti), music by Carlo Donida & performed by Katyna Ranieri.

Shame about Bert Jansch passing on, he was good. Neil Young famously once referred to him as 'The Jimi Hendrix of the accoustic guitar' which is about right.

:cool:I am into South American pipe music, we have a band of South American's who come to Maidstone who busk and sell CD's, who play the pipes and have a couple of guitarists and are very good. I have purchased some of their CD's.

I love the Pan pipe music

Don't like the pipe music where they have copied modern songs, I only like the traditional music of Peru and Bolivia

Heres a favourite of mine!

Here is the king of Pan Flute with one of his most famous songs

I woke up this morning at 0400 so as not to disturb her indoors got up fired up the pc and listened to these clips of the Pan Pipes on my headphones wonderful so relaxing and will go back to bed and sleep:bow:
