I am not amused by your posts, lots of other people in this group are
not too.

You didn't change your annoying quoting style. You don't want to be
part of the community. You have chosen to stand outside. You want to
be let alone. Maybe talking with a social worker can help you to learn
how to integrate yourself into a community. I tried to give you some
hints, I tried to help you. You rejected the help. I cannot help you.
Professional psychologist can hopefully help you. I won't waste my time
any more trying to socialize you.

i have to say that it doesn't speak well for *either* of you that after 3
days, you two are still going at it. i see the value in both oppinions
expressed and have made efforts to defend yours specifically because i found
you grossly outnumbered. fergus and cor have equally valid points. the topic
is of such a nature that those oppinions are in conflict. all you can do is
to state your case. we'll take the whole conversation into consideration. it
is *we* who will decide what's important...and the winner will certainly not
be the last man standing.

believe me, herf. and fergus, without malice and without animosity i say
this...this entire thread has become one long train of annoyance and, that
i'm waiting to see who will *show* the first signs of maturity by letting
this whole thing go. been a lot of talk about it...i'd like to *see* it. the
verdict is out and there is no clear winner.

if you two are in to winning, here's how to do it. the first one to quit
adding posts to this thread wins!

the right solution is the one that works best. and it has been my experience
that as you add *perfect* programmers to an expanding codebase, the more
bugs you encounter...and they will be resolved in the exact manner i've
described...a fix here, a tweek there, and so on. adding more
*less-than-perfect* programmers to expandings codebases just make it harder
to find the actual problem.

i'd say either way, whether you are perfect or imperfect as a programmer,
i'd be very reluctant to spend my time applying "raid ant and roach killer"
to someone elses mess...different story if they were to pay for my
assistance. but again, posting attached projects for help in a ng. is
self-defeating, un-productive, and wastes resources. it's just not helpful
to anyone.

Well i have had no difficulty seeing...I think it was you who had trouble
seeing...I guess the answer though depends on where you have your nose
stuck.
