I have spoken to my ISP provider they cannot help.Help please its very
annoying and its slowing up the e-mail opperation

If your Sent Items is too full, you will find that your message is sent, but
not removed from your Outbox

Your receipients will receive your message every time you press send

I don't see any profile button to click on to fill out my profile. Please help!
I also get messages that POP is not working. how do I get that on my
computer, or get some other outgoing system?
Janette

Are you talking about the Windows Mail program? It doesn't have profiles.

How do you normally send and receive emails? What have you changed
that your former method (webmail?) is no longer satisfactory?

Gary, I clicked on the link below and it took me to a page. On that page I
clicked the link to download the 32 bit version. It took me to a page and I
could find no way to download anything. Instead it wanted me to validate my
computer, which I did. After I did that there was no more link to the
original page. I went back and went through the process and got the same
page. Again clicked to download the 32 bit version, again no way to start
the download but wanting me to validate. I went through the process again.
I know I am incredibly ignorant about computers but I don't know where to go
from there. Any ideas? Brenda Godsey

Try Microsoft's fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.

You are referencing a very old post of mine that is no longer relevant.
In the world of computers, conditions change quickly, so there is no
point in trying old fixes.

If you have an undeletable message that is stuck in the Outbox,
try dragging that message to the Deleted Items folder. If no luck,
try dragging it directly to the Recycle Bin.

Make sure you have installed Vista's SP1 and SP2 updates.
If the problem continues, try running the various repair functions in
the WMUtil program: http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil

If still no improvement, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
It will automatically import all your WM data.
