Ok now?
so by your definition then I was not a plagiarist either; because I did what
she did and the author who I failed to give credit also said he didn't
consider me to be a plagiarist; but those here still insist on calling me
one.

OK by me.....and thank you very much.....especially for explaining it in
'simple language' for Sooooooooge's benefit. He looks for things to whine
about, grin. As you can see, he has been droning on and on for 2 years on
this subject.
And so would you if I and others keep calling you a plagiarist from now on
for over 2 years you would most likely whine as you put it, even more so;
because you don't have as thick a skin as what I have.

Btw.....do you really think showing someone where to get the
appropriate program to fix their computer is copyrighted?? (just
kidding).

Personally, I doubt if any post such as the one of mine you saved is
actually copyrightable [but IANAL]. I certainly didn't search around
to see if the same exact words I wrote ever appeared anywhere else.
I tried to use that exact same reasoning when I was called a plagiarist,
saying that a UseNet post is NOT copyrightable; but I was still charged here
as a plagiarist. I relented and had my paper print a correction even though
their legal department said that their research showed that a casual post to
a public News Group or Bulletin Board was considered public domain. But of
course those here jumped on it and on any chance to run me down

No, you're still a plagiarist. Only Heather is excused.

Fortunately not. All monitors currently clean and functioning within
normal established parameters. :)
If so, I apologize.

Not at all. Biggest laugh of the day for me so far... gonna be hard to

all is ok; but when I did it and even had my paper print a correction, even
to this day I still get called a plagiarist? <<<<<

Give it a rest, you dolt!! I thought this was by one of the MS MVP's who
don't usually post on here. I happen to have at least 8 sets of hijack
instructions, but due to Merijn's site being down, I happened to pick on
Beauregard's excellent one to post because he gave an alternate site to
download from.

That is all there is to that story.......and I do wish you would stop your
incessant whinging!! Would you like me to post the other 7 so you could see
for yourself???

Giving instructions on how to get rid of Cool Web Search or a browser
hijacker is hardly the same as being a code ripper!! Or Plagiarist......or
3 bricks short.......or owing Nick 8 computers....and so on.

And I will let you in on a little secret......I am not one of 'da good ole
boys'.....I Am Woman!! (Humming a little Helen Reddy here, grin)

?????'da good ole woman's (girls) :-))
Sorry I could not resist (shame on me)

Heather

It's ok though because I know I
am not a plagiarist and that it is only those with tiny minds that keep
calling me one even after *I* formally apologized to the author and he said
that it was ok and my paper printed a correction but still you and others
call me a plagiarist. I guess it is just some sort of double standard, or
that I am just not a member of the same good old boy club that you are.

Your statement only further solidifys my point; because she and I did the
same thing; but because of her being a member of the back slapping good ole
boy network she is excused. Well guess what she is only excused by you and
those like you and her and not by the general public; because the rules
either include all or else they are not binding to all.

Only those with small minds that refuse to accept the truth think I am
whining, so I guess you qualify. Heather has winned more in 2 days about
her not being a plagiarist then what I have the past 6 months.

the biggest laugh of the day is that you and some here actually think the
general public agree with your BS; but it is only accepted by those in the
back slapping network and the general public see the duplicity in the whole
thing. This has done more to show that I am innonicent they anything else
that has ever happened here, and I won't tell you how many email I have
received saying about the same thing; but also saying they won't say so in
the group because they know the good ole boys stick together and would jump
on them also.
