Hello-

I created a video from still photos with music in Photo Story 3. I
was not successful in copying it onto a CD or DVD. I e-mailed it to
myself so I could download it onto a laptop to view. The resolution
was horrible-- any suggestions?

thanks,
Cynthia

What software did you use to create the
CD/DVD? Nero, Roxio, WinDVD?

For higher quality resolution try using a
different profile. You can access the
choices from your Save Your Story screen
by clicking the Settings button and opening
the Profile drop window.

I've finished a 10 minute photo story and now I'd like to put it on You Tube
but it's too big. Is there a way to optimize it?

Re-open your .wp3 project file.

On your "Save your story" screen...
click the "Settings" button.

Try choosing a different profile.
For example:
"Profile for e-mail - 3 (320x240)"

If you did not save your .wp3 project file
and do not want to recreate the project...
try opening the .wmv file in Windows
Movie Maker and save it for e-mail.

Drag the movie to the timeline and go to...
File / Save Movie File / E-mail

Save the movie to your hard drive and
then upload it.

Can you help me, please? I don't have any of the features spoken about in the
instructions other than the color, red eye, rotate and crop. How do I get the
various pages to appear, such as adding narration, music, etc.

disc. But I can't seem to get it to play back on my dvd player in my
televison. How do I do this? Thanks.

=====================================
If it doesn't self start like a DVD in your stand
alone player...it's possible that your player is not
compatible with VCDs. Check the manual
for your player and see if VCDs are supported.

And...some players will just not play home made
VCDs or DVDs...the newer your player is, the
better your chances are.

Good luck.

I was successful in creating a DVD with pictures which played successfully on
the DVD player, but when I added music it would not let me copy to DVD. I
just got an error saying it could not could not copy because of an error but
no clue as to what it was. The story was 136 mb and I was copying to a 4.7GB
DVD so the size should not have been a problem. Any suggestions as to why it
did not work?

Maybe the format of the audio files was not
compatible with the software you used to create
the DVD.

I'm making a presentation using one "picture" that is a quote, and the next a
photo of a famous person. I need more than 7 seconds for the text. What is
the longest duration time between photos using photo story. I would like to
buy it, but I want to be sure it's what I need. Thanks Judy
