Hi murdoch :)

... my friend was not sure if he had even seen them listed on the stock exchange being the fact that they were probably a small PLC.
Yes maybe, I would have thought since they became a PLC in 1992 that they would be listed in the FT somewhere, but maybe not

Thanks for that link.

The trouble with some muppet friendly forum's is that they are run on behalf of the muppets so if you don't toe the party line you get the chop. All a bit childish really. The fight continues for justice for mesh victims!!!:thumb:

Mesh

:(

i have same problem with my mesh PC, just reformatted to XP an all i have is the mesh recovery CD. Need sound drivers, USB Drivers and ethernet controller drivers. downloaded belarc an cant really see any name or makes or anything, looked in device manager nothin either.

You should have make a back up of all your drivers before re-formatting the Hard Drive. See if you can find a copy of everest hom edition on the net this would probably help you more, it has been discontinued but is worth a hunt around.
Why did you re-format your hard drive anyway????

thank you

thanx got it from http://www.lavalys.com they still do certian version, but i dunno what its suppose to tell me. Still cant find anything about sound. I can send the sytem report i got from that program to anyone maybe u guys can make sence of it lol.

Thanx Fuller

MeshVictim takes a break from The Quest

Those of you who have read my posts will know that I have been receiving psychiatric treatment to help me get over my near six month nightmare extracting a refund from Mesh Customer Service and now my psychiatrist has recommended that I take a long holiday. So I will be taking a break from The Quest of warning people about the dangers of buying from Mesh and from urging people to complain to Brent Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog so that Mesh are obliged to rectify their incompetent and disreputable Customer Service operation. I was thinking of a sentimental return to Llangollen, but I suspect that redblooded young Glaswegian ;) will have availed himself of any opportunities there, so I think I’ll try Scotland instead. I may get something up, if you’ll pardon the expression, if I happen upon an Internet Café in the Highlands, but otherwise I will not be posting again until around the middle of May.

For any new Mesh Victims reading this post :-

Trading Standards
You should report Mesh to your local Trading Standards Service first and do it as soon as you have trouble with Mesh. They should advise you how to resolve the problem and, when that does not work, refer the matter to Ms. Paula Anderson, The Brent Trading Standards Officer responsible for trying to keep Mesh in line. Once your case is referred, you can contact Ms. Anderson direct :-
Phone: Ring 020 8937 5555, then option 2 when asked, you will get Brent Trading Standards Reception and can ask to speak to Ms. Anderson.
Email: (e-mail address removed) with “F.A.O. Ms. Paula Anderson Re: Mesh Computers” as the title of your message.
Letter: F.A.O. Ms. Paula Anderson Re: Mesh Computers, Brent Trading Standards, Quality House, 249 Willesden Lane, Willesden, London, NW2 5JH.

Enjoy your holiday:wave: "meshvictim" :) The fight against the muppets will carry on while your away. My view a few years ago would have been to march down to muppets hq and go and do a bit of un-armed combat with a few of the puppets, however i don't do that anymore, i much prefer to get even as it's much more enjoyable:D

Hi Fellow Mesh Victims :)

Ty for your posts murdoch and llcoolg.
Unexpectedly I had 15 minutes spare before I depart so I just had to post something of interest. As you know I like to keep up to date on the Mesh situation and although you may have seen them all, these are the other eight links I have been monitoring every 20 minutes day and night recently :-

You may have to register, for free, to access a couple of them. The last one is interesting because as you know there is a big question mark over the forum's editorial integrity in view of the associated magazine's close relationship with Mesh. On this thread there is another potential scottish Mesh Victim, the third professor I have noticed recently warning of the problems with Mesh and a typical contribution from the Forum Editor !!!

Looking forward to a few more laughs when I return !!!
Catch you mid May !!!

Together we can make a difference !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:
Happy Posting,
