I have been lurking for a few months and while I occasionally find PT's
posts tedious to work thru, he does come up with the odd gem... As I
don't have time to go searching myself I don't mind all the garbage (to
me) that I have to wade thru. I definitely wouldn't like everything
stuffed into one post. Carry on PT. Keynote makes your efforts worth it
to me.

That way you're post can not only be collected together, but also
Ignored/DownScoered/Filtered by any Usenet client using the same
principle as "[OT]" threads.

Since you are using Xnews, this may help until such time as they
start using a tag. Add a section to score.ini,

[^alt\.comp\.freeware]

% score down Tramp and Protean OPs (floods)
Score: =-200
From: Tramp|Protean
~References: @

That will downscore any post from them which is not a reply to
another post (at least until they morph again). Then use alt+K to
map a key to "Articles | Show >=0 Scores"; I use the 0 on the
numpad.

Then you can either read through their posts or hide them with a tap
of the key. Replies to them will still be visible, in case anyone
has anything to say in response, such as to point out they've posted
adware or shareware again.
