One program I have NOT found a nice replacement for is Webcam Watcher

because none of the free programs I found were functional or easy to

Me. What does anyone need except Mozilla for the internet and PAF for
genealogy? Plus some free maintenence, backup and security utils.

It's mainly features, but also has to do with excellent design and
intuitiveness. All I can say is do a 30 day trial on all the above. They are
simply miles ahead of any freeware and even shrink wrap software.

Mid 70s in the morning does seem relatively cool
after just doing several months in the 110°F zone ....
I was amazed to see the number of Phoenicians
that wore goose-down jackets in October and November
when I first moved here back in 1981 ....
Locally attributed to "thinning of the blood" ....
Now I'd actually like to get a little closer to the equator
as even Phoenix gets too cold for me in the winter ....

to snow ;-). The next year I was right there with them!
I hear ya. I lived my first 9 years in Illinois and got enough cold to last
the rest of my life.
