Saskatchewan can keep them...
As long as they don't come to Alberta I'll be fine. We get enough
Alaskans in Grande-Prairie to "n'sync a hoarse", and some of them are
the rudest people on the face of the planet.

If people are quoting 10 levels of previous posts, no way am I
wasting my time reading that thread, since it is clearly filled with
idiocy. If otoh a decent job of snipping is done, I can quickly
recall the context of the post by scanning quoted text. Sure, I've
read the previous posts, but since then I have read several thousand
other posts. If it's top posted, recalling the context requires
scrolling down to the bottom and reading in reverse order until I
get back up to the new text. As you might imagine, I'm not willing
to do that any more than I am to read the posts that quote 10 levels
deep.
Or get a newsreader that can "hide" Quotes,

I think it very negative to put down Americans, Nazis, Germans, or
George W. Bush. Up here in English Canada, we usually pick on Neufys
(our East Coast Brothers) or Frogs (our Brothers in Quebec). It's all
meant in jest for most folks, but some are not so inclined. In the
States, a lot of folks make remarks about our brothers of colour
(color - for you Yankee swine, Nazi swine, German swine, Neufy swine,
Frog swine, or other non- categotized swine). It's really terrible -
it has got to stop! Jeez guys, I went on another rant......

The sad thing is that the idiot that started spouting off about
nationalities (first "Americans", then "MAZI German swine") was talking
about someone who is *neither* USan or German.
