No simple answer here... sorry.
A month ago, I'd have answered, "YES!!!" (based on RC1, RC2 on about a dozen
different test systems).
Today, I answer, "NO!!!"
This is based on finally feeling secure enough to install RC2 on my primary
system, as a last minute test before buying the full Ultimate version. WOW,
am I glad I did. About 30% of my software is incompatible with Vista.
Vista's Compatibility Mode is useless. About 10% of my hardware doesn't have
drivers in Vista. And I'm finding that most manufacturers seem to be
offering Vista drivers only for current market products. BTW, even with
disabled hardware, my Experience Rating scored 4.5.
Sad to answer NO... 'cause I LOVE the new interface.
