Hi,

I have read some reviews on the BFG 8800GT Card and it says that the card can run Crysis maxed out with no AA does this mean it cant cope with running both maxed out with AA or is it because you dont need both.

Could someone please let me know.

Even the 8800 Ultra wont be able to handle AA and max graphics in Crysis, the game is designed to scale for next gen hardware.

Also what is the point of AA any way does it just make games have lees lines in it?

My what? Crysis settings? All high except post processing (turns off the motion blur), with a custom .cfg file to enable some extra graphics. (See Crysis thread)

Basically, AA just removes some of the 'jaggies' you see in game, making it look nicer.

Just been reading on the internet about this driver ForceWare Release 169 WHQL Version: 169.21

For my 8800GT card it seems that meany people have been having problems with black screens at start up what shall I do if I get this? shall I remove the drivers above and install the ones on the CD?

Can you please advise me on the above.

BFG told me if I control the fan settings for the card then this voids the warranty has any one had problems with cards stoped working after speeding up the fan?

Just install the latest ones and see how it goes. The ones on the cd will be old.

Not in Ntune, look in the NV control panel, under performance.

Not tried Rivatuner yet then?

Thanks tried Rivatuner in vista but it keeps blocking it from starting up is there any way I can fix this.

Ah yes theres a fix for RT and vista, think you need the latest version, 2.06. will check.

See the performance label you have highlighted? Expand it, click on the + next to it, its in there.
