Hi,

Just noticed that the BFG 8800GT 512 Card needs a 6 pin PCI Express power connecter going in to it. I alreday have this pluged into the Mother Board at the moment would this be a problem or not. Or would I need to upgrade PSU to have another 6 pin PCI Express power cable.

Also I have a Hiper PSU 530w that is made for ATI cards would this also be a problem with this card.

Could you please let me know.

You will get an adaptor for a molex connector, you not got any PCI-E connections on your PSU then?

Got One PCI-E connections on PSU but I think thats its pluged in to the board where there is a 6 pin hole.

No, as long as it is a PCI-E connection! Most if not all PSU these days have labels on the connections to make it easy for you. :)
 
Good luck finding them in stock, As a little update, it may be worth waiting for the 8800GTS G92's out around the 10th December. Just to see how they price up against the GT's. :)

They didn't make enough of them . So they say . Strange it should happen just after the launch and so close to Xmas .

Yes EVGA are good too, Believe it or not the cards are all made in the same factory, just have different branding, bundled stuff etc. Well thats what i've read.

Oh yes, any 8800GT 512mb card will be very good. :)

Maybe, but it will work 'out of the box' You could change the AA and AF settings in the app settings if you need/want to.

Just make sure you install the latest drivers from the NV web site not the ones off the disk. :)

It will, but i aint a fan of Hiper PSU's, they tend to let go randomly.
