THE R800 IS A PIGMENTED BASED PRINTER THAT IS MORE PRONE TO CLOGGING
WITH ANY INK. THE RISK IS MUCH HIGHER WITH AFTERMARKET INK

Only partially correct about the black ink. Pigmented black is only used for
plain paper mode. Composite black is used for text and graphics on all other
paper types.

Be warned that the latest Epson printer

I understand will not wor
with OEM ink - you need to check this point
Don't know to which printers you're referring here, but my R80
happily
accepts third-party cartridges (with Formulabs ink) without complaint
and
produces every bit as good results as it did with the origina
cartridges

I am aware that the C and R series will work with non OEM inks. I wa
referring to the RX series which 'appears' to make using 3rd part
inks difficult

THE R800 USES PIGMENTED INK AND HAS A HIGH CLOGGING RATE WHEN USING
ANYTHING OTHER THAN EPSON.
