How doo I go about making my ABCSPELL WORK????????? HELP?????HELP

In the Windows Mail window Try Tools>Options>Spelling Tab
English is probably preselected. Ignore that and reset it to English.
Worked for me.

me. Hope they put out a permanent fix for this soon!

Just thought i'd let you know that this fix did indeed fix the spelling
language problem that i had. Thank you for the help

Alternately, you may use the following REG file to set the default spell check language:

Download the file to Desktop. Right-click on the file and choose Merge. Click "Yes" to confirm. Note that this REG file does not bring back the language options in the "Spelling" tab dropdown box, but sets English as the default language. Let's know how this goes.

I've clicked on spelling and I don't get a drop down menu. I have checked
everywhere and don't see the options. I tried your following suggestion and

Start Windows Mail (it should open to 'Inbox')
From the 'INBOX' window, click Tools.
On the Tools drop down menu, click Options
Click Spelling tab
Click Language drop down menu

NOTE: Even if the language you want is already displayed, click on the
drop down menu anyway &
select it again. (Sometimes it is like Spelling is turned off &
this turns it back on or resets it.)

Click Apply
Click OK

I had the same error message. This helped me, but I'm not sure why.

With the "Windows Mail" Opened, there is a menu at the top.
1. go to "Tools" (click)
2. In Tools, look down and go to "Options"
3. With the Options box open, look for the tab "Spelling" (click)
4. At the bottom there is a drop down menu that allows you to select a
language.
(I chose English) although English was already selected, I clicked "Apply"
I also put a check in the box "always check spelling before sending"
5. Click on "Apply"

Hope this works. If not, what part are you having trouble with?
