I believe this "flooding" of the group was initially done to make a
point, and to drown out the cacophony surrounding the PL webmaster
controversy. The point's been made and the shouting has died down. Time
to give it a rest.

I concur. The attempts by the aforementioned posters to "get back to
freeware" after the PL temper tantrum has instead turned the group into
nothing more than a laundry list of all the freeware links these guys
can copy and paste, with little or nothing of value. If that's all I
wanted, I'd just go read a website list.
