ah, yes, I see ... one of the reasons I recently "upgraded" my system is because of GW2
I have, in my eyes, a must have minimum.
a 64bit OS, yes, 64bit Windows
a Quad core Intel i5 2500, or an AMD equivalent ... or better
nVidia 500 series graphic card, or, an AMD equivalent ... mine is a 560 ... or better
8GB Ram, 4 will do, but ram is still cheap, and as you will be using a 64bit OS, an asset.
a good quality up-to-date motherboard, min USB 3 / SATA 3 specs
... if you have the retail (even OEM) Win7 DVD, then you can install the 64bit version from that DVD with the same license key, it works as long as it's on the same computer.
It took me 6months to get them bits, or shall I say, money, together. Living off incapacity is no fun when you need essential things, like a computer.
