If you open your email program and select tools at the bottom is the options
menu if you click on spelling click on a different language and without
selecting apply click on english again and select apply it fixes the problem

Yes this also worked for me although at first I was trying to get there from
the e-mail that I was sending then realized that I had to go to the main/home
page of windows e-mail then click on tools from there then go to spelling
then just re-click everything and wella! It was all better!

Thanks!

After creating a new email when I click on the Spell check icon I receive the
following pop up window error.

"This language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select
another in the spelling options dialog"

I went to Tools > Options > Spelling

English was already chosen, so something was not working.

I resolved my issue by reselecting english and applying the change, this
worked!

Hooray! For me too. Good thing I came here before I fell for this . . .

They advise disabling your virus software for email!

Which is a good thing to do. Email scanning is a redundant operation that
adds no protection. While not adding protection it slows down of breaks
email programs. It is a marketing scam started by Symantec and that forced
other anti-virus makers to follow suit.

Ray, click on the 'option' icon on the home page of your windows mail. You'll
see the 'spell' option there. I did the same thing trying to do a spell
check on an e-mail I had already created but it's not there it's on the home
page.

Make sure you are clicking on Tools in the main Window of Windows Mail,
not some other window such as the new message window or a window for
Internet Explorer. If you don't see the toolbar with Tools on it, see if
hitting
the Alt key makes it appear. Click on Options between Tools and Spelling.
When you get to the Spelling window, clicking on the triangle makes other
languages appear.

YOU ROCK....It worked! How abotu this question? It says that I need a Key
Code or my Moed and Excel wil vanish after 25 tries? How do I cure that. My
e-mail is: (e-mail address removed)
