Funnily enough, I just installed Firefox and retried from within Firefox and
the full download is going ahead.

Just kidding. I restarted the download afterwards and am at a solid 250K/s
with about an hour to go...can't wait! :)

Thanks Sascha, Downloading now 1%@50k
Just wanted to make sure that Beta2 key will work with RC1, true? (Didn't
work with pre-RC1 Build 5536)

Thanks Sascha, Downloading now 1%@50k
But I wanted to make sure that my Beta2 Key will work with RC1, true?
(Didn't work for Pre-RC1 Build 5536)

All legit Beta2 Product-Keys do work (verified) in the following builds to
install and activate them as genuine products.

* Beta2 , * 5472 , * 5536 ( PreRC1 ) and in * 5600 RC1

with 5536 and RC1 you also can install for evaluation purpose without
entering any key.

All versions have a timebomb to go off on June,1 2007 afterwards Vista stops
working.

I have been downloading now for almost 6 hours! I have no idea what
progres, If any? I'm making. I have no dialog box that one has with the usual
downloads. So I will leave it running overnight ( I'm in the UK ) and
hopefully I will be able to install it. I presume it will be heading to the
download folder, But as stated I can't see any box showing speed or progress,
Or target area. I only have the sidebar CPU meter to watch! I'm running Beta
2 5384, Which to me is full of pop up permission boxes That I can't get rid
of!Help!

Andy.

windows vista rc1 y no me funciona alguien tiene la ruta buena para hacer
esto ???

Sascha,

I read all of the postings in the thread and th,us the reason for me posting
this question. I went thru all of my emails and verified that I never
received the email with the Product Keys and I was not part of the Beta 2
program. I did receive an email welcoming me to the CPP but did not receive
the product key. Is there a n umber or email address that I can contact on
this matter?

Regards,

When you do finally register for the CPP, you will be shown a page with the
Product Key and you will receive an email with the Product Key and the
download links.

Every time I downloaded it, using firefox, IE, or Akami DL manager, I end up
with the 32-bit MD5 hash being incorrect or corrupt. Akami yields a "Fatal
Error". Any help?

Yup,
Don't use those download approaches.
Get your own download manager;go back to the download url;and choose the
ones on the right side;under the header;use your own browser/dload manager.
And use a download manager;not browser.
Here's one that's ALWAYS worked for me;free too!

www.freedownloadmanager.org

Install it;then grab the dload link. :-)!

Jeff

All beta/RC1 versions are timebombed to expire 31 May/1 June 2007 depending
on your time zone.
Yes, you would have to buy Vista when it goes retail.
