Contrary or contrite?
Ben asked to be removed from the list you are working on...
The gist of your response:
" Now here's the kicker Ben... I don't have to remove your name if I
don't want to. You don't have the right to make me do so. "
Do you in any wat consider this constructive to the alt.comp.freeware
Pricelessware list?
Look upwards ace.
How quickly some people forget how Ben has treated me thus far... Let
us recap here so you can see for yourself, and then tell me if what
I've said is bad or not.

You can confess your sins if you like, but you are not absolved.
BTW, would you please remove me from-
http://www.pricelessware.org/2004/CD2004PL.htm
I don't want to be affiliated with the owner's of this site. I would
have asked you privately, but I didn't see any way to contact you.

OK, I'll rephrase it.
Remove my contact information from-
http://www.pricelessware.org/2004/CD2004PL.htm
I demand that you remove it *now*. This is *not* a request.

I demand that you remove it now. This is not a request.
Excuse me for not bowing to your demand, but I have no clue who you
are, or if you are the person listed on that page. I refuse to remove
any content until I can verify that the person in question is the
author making the request.
I do apologize if this does not meet your immediate requirements, but I
do hope you can understand my position regarding this.
I will verify this with the person in question when I have the
opportunity to do so.
Best regards,
-Garrett

Pricelessware.org isn't going away or anywhere else. It's just that
the two people who were involved with it are no longer involved in
this particular web site.
Do you mean Genna and Susan?
I've been in the process of redesigning the site and fixing all the
errors, inconsistancies and filling in all the missing information.
So when I upload the redesign, it'll even be better than before.
Oh, my. I've had the time to look at some of the sites you've been
involved with. If that's the future you envision for pricele$$ware.org I
suppose everyone should be prepared to accept ads on the site and
affiliate links to "free" software. Please tell us that's not in your
plans.

Ok, so I was nice through the whole thing with Ben, but Ben on the
other hand has been demanding, making false claims about me, and still,
I have yet to insult the fellow myself. My statement about not having
to remove the info is a fact, I point that out since he and some others
seem to think I'm abusing poor Ben by not jumping out my butt to
immediatly remove his honored name from the site, when in the real
world, I really don't have to do anything about it at all. But I was
being nice and said I would verify it when I was ready. The point is,
I was nice about this all along, but some people can't take someone
being nice and respectful and have to throw some sort of tantrum here.
And then you come along and try to make something of it, into something
that it's not. Did I wrong Ben? Because I didn't jump out of my butt
to his childish demands, I'm wrong? Kick me in the balls and I'm
suppose to smile and then spit shine your shoes?
If that's some of think it works, you're going to be in for a reality
check sooner or later.....
Again, I say, I will verify it before the site is updated. But please
note, I have no legal obligation to remove the info at all, Nor must I
jump immediately to his or anyone else's demands. Simply asking me was
sufficient, and I acknowledge the initial request. In due time it will
be removed.
There's no freeware pick for this post..... You don't deserve it! :-(
