Crysis Thread!

So is anyone else played this yet?

Right, just got home V_R, downloading all updates i can think of for my new pc! :)

Will download beta over the night or if it doesn't take long maybe some tonight, if not i will PM you tomorrow for some ass whooping :p

Hmm well, i can't download steam atm? Says i don't have the rights, said something about vista?

First bad thing! ;o I have Bioshock and CS:S on steam, what the hell am i surpossed to do!
 
Hmmm i downloaded the BETA, i got to install and such, complete ...

All i get is Gamespy - and no crysis? Am i missing something? lol

Please help ;) Also, says i need a windows update ONLY after i finish install of crysis, other then that it says i don't need an update?
 
Di you get the release 3 of crysis? thatsthe newer one, its 1.38gb and is a totally new client. Its a lot less buggy than the old versions.

Will see if i can find the link in a bit, but not at home so will have a look through FP. :)

What update do you need? i didn't get that, but i am all updated anyway.
 
Don't know, well it took me to EA games page, but couldn't load it up as i forgot to download flash player, so i had to quit that screen and re download but wasn't there.
 
Was it flash player you needed then?

Well i am at home now, just checked and i have the release three which is 1.38gb.
 
Can you post a link mate to this and i'll download it?

Did you get Gamespy too or just me? lol
 
Do you subscribe to FP?

It asked me if i wanted to install some gamespy arse but i said no.

I wasn't going to sub to FP but as its so cheap i just said what the hell and did it for three months. (long enough for me to get the Crysis SP demo! ;))

This sucks. I press that little play button, enter my code etc etc but can't find where the Crysis Beta client is to actually play? Where was yours?

I dont bother with launching it from the DL manager, just use a desktop icon like norm. It installed in the program files folder as usual if that what you mean. Oh wait your on vista aint ya, is it not in your game folder?

What spec? Is that when your online and have to put in your spec?
 
Can't find it anywhere! I use the search button and it only finds the websites i've been putting in, even though in add/remove it says Crysis BETA MP ...

This is annoying!

Yes when i go try register for the single player DL said my machine wasnt powerfull enough grrrrrr

Just seen this now - but we'll have to arrange a time and server to get some PCR people online :)

I made my name "pcreview.co.uk" to make me easy to spot :lol:
 
Belloni, Reinstall?

TD, the SP demo isn't out yet so dont worry too much just yet. If worst come to the worst, just reapply with a little white lie? Say you got a quad and 880 or something.

Ian, Deffo, when you thinking? Is it just you Belloni and me?
