Just played about an hour of CoD_WAW online, haven't come across the new maps yet, hell, I ain't even played all the old maps online yet ;)

I is only up to Gunnery Sergeant and have yet to get familiar with all the maps and quirks of the game.

But I have to say I'm liking it (apart from the dogs) and I think I've finally got fed up with CoD_2.

Just 4 & 5 for me from now on me thinks :)

And it did make me feel good us PC users got the maps for free, it's about time we had some perks over them console users :D
 
Call of Duty: World at War v1.5 Patch out now.


Activision has issued a new patch for Call of Duty: World at War, bringing to v1.5 this first person shooter sequel developed by Treyarch Invention. The most notable additions to this patch are the three multiplayer maps (Banzai, Corrosion, Sub Pens) and one new Zombie map (Shi No Numa). In addition, the update includes several bugfixes and gameplay tweaks. Press 'read more' for changelog - we also have a new version of the mod tools for the game.

Blimey, servers are all maxed out :(

There's just one at 96% but even that's not working for me.

Guess I'll have to try later.
 
Just went to log on and have a rather drunken bout of CoD WAW online and noticed very few servers indeed.

Realised I wasn't patched.

Now downloading patch at a rather acceptable speed of 720kb p/s :)

Once I'm patched I will engage the hordes whilst inebriated and get my bottom well and truly kicked.

Good fun though :D

New Nazi Zombie map: Der Riese (nazi_zombie_factory), an all-new Zombie map set in a secret Nazi research facility featuring the Pack A Punch Machine, Teleporters, and many more undead hordes!
Exploits pertaining to Demo playback.
Favorites list now ignores filter settings.
Fixed S&D round counting error when roundlimit is reached.

Notes:
• Fixed an MP server crash exploit.
• Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
• Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
• Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
