release note for the HD363N firmware NetHDD007-0820
From Argosy support for the latest firmware on their site
Firmware Version: NetHDD007-0802
Fixed issues:
- Files can't be moved from a folder into its subfolder.
- The FILECHECKMD5 program, that is able to generate a MD5 checksum, reports an error while comparing a copied folder (with many subfolders and files).
- Delete a shared folder from the web admin interface of the HD363N; it sporadically does not seem to work correctly.
- Renaming of files or folders doesn't work if the file name stays the same and only capitalization shall be different
- Problem with the new password policy.
- The execution of a 16-bit Windows program directly from a shared folder of the HD363Ndoes not work, if the program has a name, that does not match the old DOS 8.3 naming convention.
- From time to time, the HD363N is no longer functional and has to be rebooted.
- FTP Security hole – it is possible to access secured folders when you know their name.
- During file operations, folders with special characters appear on the HD363N.
- Excel can't overwrite existing files. Folders are renamed when copied onto HD363N.
- If a file named "füße" is copied via drag & drop to HD363N the file is no longer readable
- An Outlook pst-file is not readable when copied to HD363N
- Edit existing Word 2000 files on the HD363N, the files are destroyed.
- 16bit program) cannot run if it resides in a folder with name including German special characters
- All files/folders of HD363N are shown in Windows Explorer only after refreshing sight. At first there is only a part of this folder/files visible
