That particular system I chose would run Linux very well, very well indeed.

Except, maybe, for the Plextor DVDRW, for some reason, Plextor shunned Linux and some of their drives just won't shake hands with the Penguin

Are quatros any good for gaming?

The Quadro FX4500 will play every Linux game available and play all PC Games almost as good as the top gaming cards.

So I guess it's not the ideal gaming card but perfect for CAD,Photoshop, etc.

I picked the Quatro FX4500 primarily as it works with the Apple 30" Monitor, no other family of grafix card does on non-Apple machines.

Might have to rethink the grafix card/monitor combo.
