Xp Virus, Cant System Restore Help!!!!!!

i have decided to spend a bit getting it fixed, afteral i will keep te software and the quote i got was around 40quid which is the price of the software any way. Howwever if i do get my virus fixed can i then easily install windows 7?

You should be able to install it now just back up any data you need. Then wipe / reformat the HDD and install Windows 7 this will remove the viruses. If you don't feel able to do this then I would ask the shop to backup any data you need and get them to install Windows 7 for you at the same time.
