Xnews vs (Super)Gravity

The VisibleHeaders setting concerns imho the headers displayed in
the full article view. In articles list view, the 'from'
field/column is between the columns 'Line' and No' : I guess the
'from' column is strangely 0 px wide on your pc ; try to move these
'Line' and 'No' columns' borders to make the 'From' column appear.

Thank you antoine....it is as you correctly said between the lines and no
columns.I dont think i would have found that without it being pointed out.To
my other question is there someway to download just the last 300 hundred or
so (read and unread headers)and keep it permanently that way?Or if not what
would you suggest is the best way.Sometimes i dont go online for a week so i
dont want to download 10000 headers for example.How can i keep it as the
last 300?

Personally, I don't know if it's possible or not. Try a Google Web search,
a Google Groups search, and then try asking in news.software.readers if
you don't find your answer here.

It's in one of the two ini files.
 
Thanks for that , but unfortunatly the setting doesnt stay
that way.When exiting it defaults back , and i dont really
want to have to keep going into the options to do
that.Gravity which im using does have that option and it
stays set at that without having to alter it all the time.

The solution would probably be to get a better newsreader. Use Dialog
and a script. You could ask your question in news.software.readers and
someone will probably give you the syntax. Put "Dialog" in the header.
