Wireless and mapped drives

We have some wireless laptops that will not map network
drives from the logon batch files the first time logging
in with a user while wireless. If connected to the LAN by
ethernet, it maps fine. Any thoughts???

Probably those cards are taking a bit longer to establish a connection for
whatever reason, be it location or type of card. I'll bet if you check the
event logs you'll find that they're logging in with cached credentials and
catching up later.

That was my guess. Any thoughts on how to speed that
process up?

.

Sorry, no. Some cards come up fast, some slow. It may depend on the
location - if the signal is iffy it may take a bit to negotiate a
connection.
