Yes .. FilZip was a good one. A BETTER freeware one, though, is IZARC,
available from http://starstuff.future.easyspace.com/IZArc33.exe
It is a near clone of WinZip, and covers soooo much more, including .RAR

Heh, that's the program that I started this thread by describing.

As for Filzip, its homepage claims that you can rename files while
they're still in the .zip. IZArc can't do that, at least as far as I
can tell.
