Unfortunately, these solutions did not help me because I am not running
Windows Vista. I am running XP Home SP3. I believe the computer came with
SP2 though. I have tried various solutions through microsoft help via email,
and nothing seems to be working and it takes them 2-3 days at a time to get
back to me. I have tried re-registering all the .dlls that i found in a list
in another post, removing the qmgr files and replacing them, reregistering
BITS, etc. It seems like there is no solution in sight here. Is there some
way to repair the BITS system through the operating system disc that they
sent me without going through reinstalling the entire system? Do they make a
BITS repair utility for XP?
