Windows Mobile Device Center and Vista RC1

Dear Max,

Also, I did a complete reinstall of Windows Vista RC1 from the DVD which
Microsoft sent out by U.S. mail, prior to trying your very good suggestions
below.

....still no luck...

....oh, well...

....any idea when a functional Windows Mobile Device Center which
synchronizes contacts and calendars under Windows Vista RC1 with Pocket PC
Windows Mobile 5? (The WMDC Beta 3 version desn't yet work.)...
