Because people who use free stuff are moochers.

You use Norton? Figures. Norton is a bloated hog that screws up your computer. If you knew
any better you would wipe Norton off your system right away. Don't believe me? Google it and
you will see.

You are a typical user who needs to be guided by the hand. It's a wonder you can even type.

You say people who use free stuff are moochers? Is that what you call the Open Source
community? Again, you know nothing.

Go watch Jerry Springer. He is about to interview a girl who is dating her cousin and is
sleeping with a horse.

Norton performs better than NOD32...I owned NOD32 for 3 years.
I know, you only know what you read from others.

No, No, No, my idiotic Windows user.
You make the claim that linux users use linux cause they don't pay for
software ... then you use free crap.

Nothing wrong with free software. As long as it's good free software.

Some is, but much of it is not.

Look at the advantages of open source. Try before you commit. No licensing
issues to try it. Still have your money if you change your mind. No
extortionary bunding, back doors or DRM. Most often the same tools work on
UNIX, Linux, Mac and M$.

Heck, going from MS-Office 2003 to Open Office is a much more simple task
than going from MS-Office to MS-Office 2007. You are drunk or never tried
it if you don't think so.

He can't be drunker than you with all that free beer you bought ;)

Nice site, but M$ knows about lockin. Pretty hard to avoid these days
when PCs are cheaper to buy than build.

I wonder how Vista users feel now that Vista is a defunct OS?

The good part, is that you're not required to use any operating system that
you don't want to use. You are free to choose, including the option of
quitting your job if you feel your employer unjustly forces you to use a
non-proprietary OS.

Oops.

What for, posting here with different nyms? And the rest of the time
you're updating this and that defragging the XP?
One thing for certain - I don't use that INFERIOR Ubuntu

You're too stupid.
that won't run
any of the popular software programs out there.

So you lie and state the above obvious LIE.
Ubuntu is worth exactly what you pay for it: NOTHING

You pay nothing for air so it's worthless? Try to stop using it ...

But, being as you've lied again, here are just some of the things you
can do with Ubuntu if you haven't swallowed the MS FUD hook, line and
sinker like the nymshifter has:

Email
Surf the web SAFELY
Burn CDs.
Rip CDs.
Listen to music.
Watch vidoes/DVDs.
Scan and print.
Spreadsheets.
Presentations
Newsgroups.
HTML editing.
Games like Chess, Tetris, Open Arena (Doom like game) all kinds of
solitaire, etc.
Make videos.
Download photos from a camera and organize them.
Translations.
Use a dictionary
Learn how to touch type.
Edit images.
Send and receive a fax.
Take screenshots.
Create .PDF files.
Create and use a data base.
Instant messaging with over 10 different programs in one including
Windows Live Messenger.
IRC.
Bluetooth.
SKYPE

and much more!

What you can't do with Ubuntu:

Worry about:
WPA and WGA raising their ugly heads,
DRM,
Viruses,
Root kits,
Spyware,
and
Malware.

Wow. Is the >>>>> a replacement for your Just FYI? Let's string sentences together and put >>
between them. Did you think of that with your tiny little brain? Just FYI. Did I say Just FYI?

So, do you think that snipping my post to reflect a different meaning is
cute and clever? How many people do you think you fooled?

Alias

So I guess it's OK when you do it?

Then why don't most businesses use OO? There is a reason. Most home
users use Microsoft Office. They would rather pay for quality software
than use that INFERIOR Open Source Office.

Some do. Home users, even more. But many use MS-Office pirate style.
I have tried Open Source Office. It takes you back about 10 years in
technology. No wonder nobody uses it except students and the poor.

LOL. You think. It is much less effort to go from MS-Office 2003 to Open
Office than to go to MS-Office 2008 or is it 2007?

Best part is you can send files to the Mac/Apple users and it works!
