If they do not already... They should make the path bar maintain
the deepest location traveled, and keep the current folder
highlighted in the path bar. That way, you could click one of the
parent folders without losing immediate access a folder two or
three levels deeper. Only when the folder selection changes the
rest of the path, then they should change the rest of the path in
the path bar.

Then again, maybe not. Click and drag copying & moving files is
problematic without the folder bar. Unfortunately, Microsoft
programmers/managers decided to remove the ability to expand a
folder simply by clicking on the folder name (you can click on the
plus sign, but that is a much smaller target). And folder view
folder tree indention has been made cryptic, the subfolder level
is unclear (maybe using a fixed width font or whatever can help
correct that).

At first glance, Windows firewall is black or white. Either you
have practically no control using the normal properties, or you
have a complex setup using the advanced properties. Hopefully,
there is some way to use it like a normal firewall, where you can
set it to ask whenever a new program wants to access or accept
connections from the Internet. That, at least until ZoneAlarm
becomes Windows 7 compatible.

Apparently the Windows 7 registry is formatted differently than
prior versions (including Vista), meaning some programs won't
easily install without an update.

It gets worse... Not sure if this was true with Vista, but now in
Windows 7 Windows Explorer folder view, when you press the down arrow
key to move to the next folder, the next folder is highlighted but
that folder's contents are not shown in the main window!

That one is difficult for me to believe. Microsoft cripples its file
manager and gives the user no options.

As I meant to say above, the folder view is still very useful for
dragging and dropping files. So why cripple it?
