Any special reason for what? That I never found a reason to go any further
than v2.5e? Well, the one I use plays whatever which is what I want. It
doesn't have a "library" feature which I don't want because there are other
far better MP3 database managers.

Basically, any improvements to later 2.x versions were ones that I didn't
want. Additionally, many of those "improvements" fixed bugs introduced
after the one I use.

Salient points of all Winamp 2.x versions...

What do you use for your database manager please? is that to access for
example shoutcast directories?

Thanks.

No, it is to catalog and access MP3 files stored on my hard drive and/or
CDs.

Hello

Which OLD version on WinAmp do you consider the best?
Also where would I find these/this version?

Thank you. Thank you!

Winamp 2.9.X which is the best version of Winamp. Even thought, I only
use Foobar 2000 nowadays, Winamp 2.9.X has a special place in my heart,
the only reason why I even stopped using Winamp is that it always
locked up on me when I tried to listen to Shoutcast streams or
streaming audio (I haven't used Winamp in about 2+ yrs.)
