Frank, like the nymshifter, only knows the FUD he reads and believes.
Neither of them have installed or used Ubuntu.

There you go, lying again. In black and white. You lied.

I installed that SHITTY Ubuntu and then discarded it as the garbage it is.
Oops.

No, you didn't. Your posts make that obvious.

Lame retort but expected.

Correct post and you are catching on. If you post shit, we will call you on
it. Every time. We are here to perform a Noble Mission to correct the lies
that you generate on a daily basis.

Maybe the city should thank me for the wonderful charity work that I do to
help clean up the Vista forum.

Thanks Rick.

But, where should I participate?

MS Answers or Technet Forums?

To state the obvious, there isn't one and that's why these groups will
probably go away at some point.

That could be accelerated by MS just shutting down its news server.

Nope, no idea why. Tho, if I were to take a guess, its because they
can't moderate these newsgroups like they can the forums to keep
trolls out.

They could make it a moderated listserve group that is propogated to
news servers after moderation. I sure know I've participated in a few
moderated news groups in the past. It worked quite effectively to screen
out the nuts.

I hate to sound stupid, but are there any Windows 7 newsgroups yet? I
couldn't find one.

Yes there is one.

alt.windows7.general

Not every news server carries it yet.
Try nntp.aioe.org. No need to register.

MS Answers. I suspect that the technet forums are falling off in usage now
for the average user...

MS Answers is the forum designed for the majority of regular users, but
there is no restriction of which I am aware towards using either.
