Wait till tomorrow.

There is no such thing as VS2005 for Office. I used VS2005 until a month
ago when I switched to VS2008. It has nothing to do with the Office, you
idiots.

You have never seen VS2005 in your life to talk about it.

A bunch of cretins with no education and poor language skills are trying
to throw their 250 as*ses around to raise dust. very funny.

And you are the only person in the world who has seen Office 2005. Are you
going to now tell us once again, Oh, I meant... blah blah blah, not what I
actually said. Apparently, you don't have enough brain function or education
to understand what you are writing.
You have a DOCUMENTED HISTORY of poor language skills and blowing dust and
many other unmentionable things out of your assss. You apparently are the
only one in this group not able to search for your incredibly ignorant posts
to see what you don't know.
It really is very funny.

How do you live in this world by only reading every other word? Nobody said
anything about VS2005 for Office. It was Visual Studio 2005 Tools for
Office, which apparently you think is Office 2005.
You need to understand how incredibly stupid everyone here knows you to be.
How can you live with yourself?

Read my lips. Go to the previous post. It says: Visual Studio Tools for
Office 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read it again.

You stupid fool, that website used incorrect wording.

Please, provide me a link to buy Microsoft Office 2005.
Provide me a link to any updates, service packs, or hotfixes
for Microsoft Office 2005.

There's the Office 2000 Solution Center;

There's the Office XP Solution Center;

There's the Office 2003 Solution Center;

There's the Office 2007 Solution Center;
http://support.microsoft.com/ph/8753

There's even the Visual Basic 2005 Solution Center;

Where is the Office 2005 Solution Center? Do tell, pudden-head.

It's been fun humiliating you.

Time to move on, you're such a waste.

You may carry on your foolishness.

Nice catch (for the titles of the two pages). However, I bet you did not
read the content at all (forgiveable behavior of kids when they jumps
between sites so quick).

In your dream or your own "virtual office". Oh, maybe it is MS Office for
Mac, which cannot be used on VISTA.

Maybe, you were using VS2005 Express? There are many different suites of
VS2005, one of it called Visual Studio 2005 Tools for The MS Office System,
which is a VS2005 suite package similar to VS2005 Professional. It also
called VSTO2005 for short. It can be used for developing the same types of
project except for mobile project, which VS2005 pro does the same project
types as VSTO2005 except Office add-ins (until VSTO2005SE released as
add-on). See, you does not know lot of things as you thought you did.

We'll, it's tomorrow. What are you going to do?

Are you still stupid?

How much further may we embarrass you today?
I'm sure you'll give us mucho opportunities.

Actually, you embarrass yourself.... you need no help.
Except for some professional psychiatric help.
Have you stopped taking your medication?
Don't do that, Alex. Please, take them.
Go get Kevin and you guys can go to the doctor
together.... skipping and holding hands.
Such a lovely thought.

Yes. But, Outlook will not remember email passwords.
Every time you close Outlook and then reopen it, you
will have to enter your email passwords again.

Also, be sure to apply all Office XP service packs and updates.

Then install the Office 2007 compatibility pack.

I have grown to like Office 2007, it does take some getting used to.
Once you do, it really is a great product. However, IMO, Office 2003
was really good, too. Office 2003 is faster in many ways on Vista
compared to Office 2007. But, Office 2007 has features I've come to
appreciate and use.

Hi Michael,
To add to your info to the OP:
I was able to get outlook 2002 installed on vista to work with exchange
server 2000 & 2007, but it took the following steps:

- Remove all existances of office 2007 (you can reinstall them AFTER
2002/XP is installed).

- Disable UAC

- Run installer as admin (specifically with right-click 'run as admin'
option).

- Install outside of the program files directory (it works for me when I
install in the root of c, i.e. C:\Microsoft Office).

- Install Office XP SP3.

Someother things I also did which may or may not have affected the
success I haver had with Outlook 2002 on Vista:

- Disable/remove defender

- Try various options in compatibility mode.

I have been curious to see how much these steps would help Outlook 2002
with POP3 mail. Please post back with your results and let us know.

I, as well, have a registered Office XP for teachers, although I do not
teach computers. I'd like to know how to uninstall from Windows XP
(old computer) to Windows Vista. The reply indicates it is possible,
but how is it done, step by step? Thanks.

You uninstall Office by bringing up the control panel's "Add or Remove
Programs" applet and finding the Microsoft Office entry there. Then
use your installation CD to load it onto your Vista machine.

What the heck is "Office 2004" or "office 2005"?? There are no such
products.

Office 2007 is the latest, the release before that was Office 2003.
