GEEEEEz lol Sounds like fun times hopefully he has it on cd then is there a retailer that sells these?
 
Yes you can buy the full version which allows you to tweak diffrenet stuff on the program you can get it a www.futuremark.com for $30 it think, on the free version you cant change anything as its preset to run the test in a specific way

250mb at 300kbps would take about 40 minutes maybe an hour, i dont know where you got 80 hours from :/ .

dang i misspelled alot of words last post haha what can you do. :D but if you was asking me im getting them Monday or Tuesday then next weekend im taking them to friends house and we are gonna set it up. he has cable so i might do some dling for that 3dmark 03 <----- Hoping my comp will be sweet
 
Get 3Dmark 05 while your at it!
Based on your system id say your going to get at least a score of 8,000 marks on 3D mark 03
 
I agree. Partly coz the guts Mr CSUniteds machine are very similar to mine, and I`m gettin just over 8K5 with a couple tweaks and some mild OC`s.

Speaking of who has the fastest PC, and how these things are "calculated", who all here uses the CustomPC benchmarks?

Yea im hopin a good benchmark. Im not going to Oc anytime soon i dont think ( N()()B ) <----- but ive heard many people state that the mobo has a lil tweaking tool for ocing so we will see. and hopefully to get some sli going on buttttttt thats another story. the whole system including my lcd 17inch was $200 USD so all togetehr comps gonna be worth 1,300.00 USD give or take $100. so who knows and i didnt want to pay so much for a 6800ultra so i was gonna do sli with 6600gts looks cooler too :-P. ill make some lil short reviews of the parts if you people want em???? Let me know im glad to supply pictures of case and what nots. Have you seen the case its blue with 7 CASE FANS CRAZY!!!! side window and fan controls LOTSA WIRES!!!!

but back to benchmarking is there any free programs that are small lol so i can DL on gay dialup untill i get cable Let me know Thanks.
 
If you went with dual GTs you poor case would probly melt! :O cause those get pretty warm
I wouldent mind a review of your system if your willing to :)
Also Kenny, im just look for 3Dmark scores but what do you mean by Custompc?
 
Yea Alf when i start putting it together im gonna take many pictures just to show you the look and inside i will show you how everything is and the temps with one and maybe 2 we will see i like doing the review thing

Not much to review on though imthinking about doing a review on my monitor and speakers let me know if i should they are kinda outdated though (speakers).
 
hey I feel emabarassed to say, Ive never heard of theses programs, I'm sure I won't score nearly as high as the rest of you but I do want to know where to get these testing programs.

I was thinking the Altec Lansing ATP3 model but i dunno yeat there like 2 years old i would say and they dont make them anymore so i dunno if it would be worth it but im planing on getting the logitech z-5500's digital but i dunno kinda pricey but let me know if you want a review on the altecs lol.
