I am trying to plan a big PCR get-together :D

The meet would be in November or possibly early December.

I would firstly like to know whether you would prefer to meet in London or Manchester :) Please also post your availability.

Thank you! :thumb:

Shame we have to leave out our American members ... Hey! how about we pop over to The Azores ... just the right temp for me in November. :D

;)

Being an Essex Boy, London would definately suit better than Manchestaaaaaaaarrrrr..
Availability wouldn't be a problem in either November or December..

Cheers

Ian

Excellent :thumb:

Travelodge have a deal on where a room costs £26 around that time, so if anyone needs to stay over it won't work out expensive (London or Manchester) :)

I need some more feedback, folks! :)

I'm bumping this thread back up ;)

Sorry Bex, a very good idea but its a bit awkward to justify flying over, unless I happen to be in the vicinity anyway.

However, if and when you do all get together, I will join you in spirit (LIQUID SORT), and plenty of it!:D

We shall dedicate a drink to those who are unable to attend ;)

Its London for me Bex - anytime in November/December is fine.....:thumb:

Good good :) It looks like London might be the venue then. We could invade Floppy's favourite watering hole... Cutty Sark, anyone?? ;)

You're so kind :) Let me know when it is and I will have a drink ready over here to join you.:D

Give me time and date and I shall make an overseas call to someones cellphone to say hello to everyone who attends :)

What a good idea! It'll have to be quite short mind, or you might end up paying the same as an airfare!

May be we can get a SkyPE conference call setup, assuming Quads has got his service up and running by then!:)

I tried it from office to home setting it up with my son and the results on dial up were less than satisfactory. No I can call on the cellphone no problem! :) It would be fun, you can all say it was an international meet!!!!:)

Give it a whirl ...

I'm up for giving it a try if others are. If anyone wants to join in, PM your details and we can see how far we can get:)

I wouldn't mind skyping in if you do get a conference call set up. Be good to hear you all in real time ;). We're about 12hrs ahead of you (Will have to check out GMT comparisons later soz) so so long as it isn't 4pm at your end I should be able to sort something out :D.

Ah man, leaving out the Canadians too? :) It's just a tad too far for me to go..lol. Neat idea though, hope you all have a blast!

Sorry to be a damp squib and all, but I won't be able to attend in November.

On Halloween I'm having a hernia op, been putting it off for 3 or 4 years, finally set a date.

So I shall be convalescing most of November :(

I wasn't going to mention it (the op) but seeing as how this thread came up.....

I just got back from my pre-op medical in fact, I had to fill a jar, they took an armful of blood and they taped all these sensors over me.

They made the informed deduction I was still alive and worth operating on :D

And yes, you could say I'm a tad nervous, yes you could......

Sorry to hear the news Flopps, but very pleased to hear that it has been confirmed that you are still alive. I imagine you are rather relieved as well?:D

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say good luck and hope everything goes well. Are you going to be starting a recruitment campaign for a nurse maid to assist you in your convalescence? If you need any help in making a decision on candidates let me know.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
