downloaded this - it did work for me - installer gave me two versions,
standard and professional - only one license agreement - I presume it
applies to both.

Standard has a choice of colours and pixel widths for brushes - that's
it - no filters or effects or changing picture depth etc

Professional bombed out missing a system file

really, Fussy - this is less than windows paint - if I were the
authors of irfanview or PSP I would sue based on the comments you make
- laughable

By all means keep up the programming work, and by all means ask people
to have a look - but keep your claims about the software honest.

Professional installed for me, but because I have VB6 already installed on
my system, the system may have the necessary files already there. Or it
might be an XP thing, that's the OS I'm using. Either way, I know first hand
what a pain it can be to make sure all file dependancies are present in the
install, but ya gotta make sure they're there. The photo editor itself is a
fairly basic editor, but it looks like most of the basic functions included
in PSP or similar editors is well incorporated. I have not actually used it,
just took a look at it. It will be interesting to see version 2 of this
software, looks promising.

On closer inspection, the software is limited to saving only .bmp and .jpg
files. This is okay for most work but should be greatly expanded for full
functionality. It is, in consideration, a version 1.0 product, so I expect
this will expand with future versions.
