What's up with IrfanView?

That's good.

Good enough. I just get suspect when I know I am running 3.85, I see a page
I haven't seen before, and it's at least a version old...

I don't blame you; I saw 3.80 on the first page, checked
that the 'History' listed the version I'm using, and then
checked the download links to make sure I hadn't missed an
update somewhere. Irfanview is my "all time" favorite
freeware.

it is better for editing images than ifranview

In your opinion ¡X only.

So?

paint is very limited. my ne is like psp, but free

Going to your http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?19000000037114 link and
attempting to download the program gives me:

"File Not Found:
For some reason, the file you are looking for on WinSite is not here.
It could be that you have an old link, the file was replaced with a
newer version, or has been removed from the collection."

A.A., you still haven't addressed this issue. Are you living in denial
or something? WHERE IS THE DOWNLOAD??? How many times do I have to ask
you and how many times will you either sidestep or ignore my posts?

No adware, cdware, commercial software, crippleware, demoware,
nagware, shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses
or warez please.

http://dl.winsite.com/bin/downl?19000000037114 will work

downloaded this - it did work for me - installer gave me two versions,
standard and professional - only one license agreement - I presume it
applies to both.

Standard has a choice of colours and pixel widths for brushes - that's
it - no filters or effects or changing picture depth etc

Professional bombed out missing a system file

really, Fussy - this is less than windows paint - if I were the
authors of irfanview or PSP I would sue based on the comments you make
- laughable

By all means keep up the programming work, and by all means ask people
to have a look - but keep your claims about the software honest.

The word straight from Irfan is that he had some problems with his provider
renewing the domain name. They're working on it.

Check back from time to time to see if it's back up. The latest version is
still 3.85, so nothing new is available.
http://www.irfanview.com/ has been down for a while. Anyone know
what's up?
