Wedding Photo's

lol, yes finally
They'll be arriving in dribs & drabs I'm afraid since, as we didn't have a professional photographer, we're recieving photo's from guests as they come & picking out the good ones
As you can see in the photos, John rode up to the wedding on horseback. He'd only had one lesson the previous week (he says he was more nervous of the horse ride than he was of the wedding )
But he was really only doing it for me. I was watching him ride up from the bedroom window. And wasn't expecting anyone else but me & my bridesmaids/man to see. But somehow it got out that he was doing it & so all the guests went back down & waited on the driveway, camera's at the ready, to see him ride up. He saw them as he rode around the corner and thought "Oh sh*t! I better act like I know what I'm doing then!"
And he pulled it off too
Managed to look like he'd been riding all his life
I couldn't see the driveway from where I was so I couldn't see all the people down there.
I just saw him riding up the road

He looked fantastic
& s*xy as
The other one was taken by my mum a few minutes after we were married & she sent it down to me on the weekend & I just liked it. Was so Happy
Is the only photo of just 'us two' so far.
I'll go & hunt through all the actual 'getting married' photos now & see if I can find a couple of good ones to resize & get them up here asap

I'm sorry I'm not keeping up with everyone elses threads & news properly
I'm not meaning to be rude & I am sorry.

I am mostly over the bug now
& had naievly thought that most of the wedding 'work' was done 'before' the wedding & we would be able to relax now. But it seems everyone was simply saving up stuff until after
Tonight, since I rather stupidly forgot to have I guestbook I will be spending hunting through all of the photos & matching the people in the photos, with those on the guestlist so that we know who exactly was there to send all the thank you notes out to
This will be especially fun since i don't even know half the people who were there & at the rate John moves, trying to get him to stay still long enough for something like this is going to be hilarious
But, despite all the busyness & chaos of this last week, I am still the happiest I've ever been

yes it was stunning & John was incredible
I wish you could've seen it
seeing him come up the road my heart just went....
He rode up looking all nonchalant, as if he'd been riding all his life & hoping like h*ll he wouldn't fall off.
Then, when he arrived & dismounted, relieved at having survived,
& everyone started asking him to get back on again so they could take some photo's
But, despite all the terror he did enjoy riding the horse & is thinking about getting lessons now so he can learn to ride properly
I think it suits him

Was the third time actually
The first was when I first came out
The look on his face when he first saw me was like nothing I had ever seen before
And thank you so much for such a beautiful dress Ady
Everyone loved it
But especialy John

The second kiss was while our witnesses were signing the register
That's when my two bridesmaids (Tomo & John's daughter)
started commenting that we should 'get a room'

But from the time I first saw him
when i was comming down the stairs, it was like their was no one else but us
The feeling was so complete that, when afterward people started comming up to congratulate us I had no clue who was who at first & was just thanking people without any idea who they were
Sandy, the celebrant who married us said that he'd never been to such a wedding & that he himself was moved
I suppose everyone says it,
It really was magical

It was a wonderful day
Although you should've seen me first thing in the morning.
The people who were supposed to come & help me set up got the flu
& the wind was up & blowing the gazebo up from the deck
I spent the morning running around tying it down with green string
so there was green string all over the deck at the wedding
But at least I got it tied down before it flew away
A day to remember

OK, here's the actual wedding itself
You can really get to see The dress Ady gave me properly here
It is beautiful
The Wedding was wonderful, & quite indescribeable
I don't know if I've ever been so happy
Just looking at the photos puts me right back there

On the signing of the register piccy that's my Mum there in the gold
Behind her are John's 2 best 'men'
Sandy the celebrant is signing & that's my brides maids/man to the right.
Dunno about those 2 snuggling at the back though
