FYI SmartFTP is nagware now. I've hoofed it from my site and replaced it
with BlazeFTP which is nearly as good (and also seems to be more stable on
my system, as a bonus).

I've been using the latest for a week now, and haven't notice any nagging
yet. Oh well, there are plenty of Freeware FTP programs to be explored.

Hi Bob,
Can't remember if you've tried Filezilla. I keep returning to it after
trying others.
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
I really like LeechFTP too, but Filezilla does a better job with "keep
alive" for some reason.
