Bad day here...

P*ss*ng it down with rain all day, found out that using RainX on my car makes the wipers screech really annoyingly, drove the family to Guildford to do some shopping, no spaces in any of the car parks, got cut up BIG time by a silver corsa which nearly made me crash...lots of tyre screech, sideways action, swearing, flashing and beeping, then i get home to find that Apple aren't actually sending me a DSLR camera and m computer is riddled with adware and spyware... And today was the last day of Christmas Hols... Back to college on Tuesday. sigh.

Oh yeah, and its freezing cold. BUT NO B***Y SNOW

Well i have it OK i guess - throwing a big party tomorrow night and the parents wont be here, should be good.

damn!
looks like ur having so much bad luck

lets hope 2006 changes and gives u the best of luck

Well, we've had it pretty rough here I'm afraid, spent yesturday snorkeling in the sunshine (John's version of doing nothing while his back is healing) & saw tons of lovely fish & anenomes & sea plants etc... It was terrible I tell you *shakes head* but stiff upper lip & we survived the trauma of having so much fun.

Then last night, when we were going to go down to the big new years party/p*ss-up at the octagon it started pouring down!!! like someone had tipped a bucket over the place!!! so instead of partaying we spent our time trying to stop the rest of our path washing away where the creek had flooded & then curled up in front of the telly with some DVD's. Probably for the best really, John had been looking forward to the new years eve party for ages & it would've driven him crazy to go down there & not be able to dance (his back is still pretty bad).

Right now the weather is busy drizzeling happily. Too wet to do anything, but not wet enough that you feel cosy being inside, but all in all we had a wonderful day yesturday so I'm content :) And, if it weren't for the drizzle you can bet John would be out there trying to fix his boat or cut the hedge
(I hate hedges... why do people plant trees to make hedges? Why not nice little bushy hedge type plants? What numbskull decided to use a tree that grows naturally to over 30 feet as a hedge plant?)
As he's never been any good at "taking things easy" & "rest & recovery" type stuff whatever the Doctor might've said. Myself I think he'd get up out of his own coffin if he thought he should go redirect the stream or rebuild the shed. So I'm glad for the rain. At least it cuts out most of the heavy work.
