Sounds good
didn't know about the ogopogo
sounds interesting.

what is it like living there?

is it all desert?
How far is the nearest city?

101 question sorry. I am really into learning about different parts of the world!

Not desert in the way that one pictures the Sahara but rather dry and hot much of the summer with cacti and rocks in abundance.

We are in close proximity to fertile farming country if we drive but an hour further north.

This is the best climate that one can find in Canada ergo it is a very desirable place to live but unfortunately is getting to the point where it is more an more becoming a playground of the rich while in the process eroding the middle class and creating more lower class income folk.

Not the easiest of places to survive but many of us who choose to live here did so knowingly and with the realization that we would be making some sacrifices.

I have arthritis and anyone who does will tell you that moisture is not a friend so of the areas Canada has to offer this is probably the more friendly as it is drier and winters are shorter and not as severe.

The area is also growing quite rapidly and Kelowna is now over 100,000 population so we are a city with the next closest about twenty minutes to the North and another about thirty minutes to the South both of which are approximately 40,000 in population.

There are many that live in the areas between as well though.

Geographically it is diverse enough that at times of the year you can be skiing in the morning and then drive for thirty minutes and swim in the afternoon.
