It's raining...raining in my heart
Not really of course, but it's the only song that came to mind :) Awfully dark here this morning - well it would be with all those clouds, but more like winter than flamin' June :p

Aye rain round these parts as well. Been drizzly for a few days.

Going ot hammer it down up north again this weekend - more floods :(

Been raining for ages here, and seems like most of next week too! I want some sun :D

What's even more annoying is it's constantly raining here and unlike most of you I live in an area that is considered semi desert.

There was four inches of water on my driveway last evening.

These freaky weather conditions seem to be happening worldwide now. It's getting a little scary

I'm in the Okanagan Valley which is known for its fruit and vineyards but only made possible through use of extensive irrigation.

The main part of the desert area is around Osoyoos however I'm on the Northern edge and we have Cacti growing natively here as well.

It is quite normal for us to get rain just not in these amounts and at this time of year.

cool

I went to BC a few times. Nice place
I only saw mountains and rainforests there
I am a little suprised that there is deserts.

So I see you are right on the american border there.
Do you ever go over there?

And is there a river near you there or something like that, I know strange a river in a desert.... but I am looking on google earth.

Yes I'm in Kelowna which is only a couple hour leisurely drive to the US if I chose to go there which I don't.

There is a river and lake system that runs right through the valley bottom from North to South connecting from approximately Vernon right across into the United States.

It is comprised of a series of Lakes, Rivers, Channels and Dams the focal point of which is the large long Okanagan Lake at the North end which I live along.

Okanagan Lake has a legendary sea monster named Ogopogo which is much like your Loch Ness monster.

The lake is about ninety miles long and quite deep flanked by mountain on either side.
